ALBANY, GA - The Albany Mall has donated $3,000 to the Albany Museum of Art. The donation will help maintain the free membership at the Albany Museum of Art.
“We are thrilled to begin a fantastic partnership with one of the region’s well-established non-profits,” said Belk Store Manager Derek Stokes.
“Southwest Georgia is so fortunate to be the home of a 2,100-piece collection of art at the museum. Because of the generosity of individuals and our local corporate sponsorships, we are able to continue to offer free admission to the public,” said Interim Executive Director Karen Kemp.
The Albany Museum of Art strives to collect, preserve and exhibit works of art. The museum also conducts educational programming for the community.
