Sutton behind '02 attack on Albany senior couple

ALBANY (WALB) - It's an ironic coincidence ten years later.

"They were the nicest people in the world. They were doing janitorial work cleaning our building over on O'Kelley," said Albany Communications President Jim Dean.

It was September 2002 when Evelyn and the late Edwin Tomlinson were brutally beaten and robbed while cleaning the former Albany Communications office on O'Kelley Avenue.

"Mrs. Tomlinson was in intensive care for several days. Mr. Tomlinson was badly beaten. He lost his eyesight in one of his eyes," Dean recalled.
